As our crime rate escalates, security on the Gold Coast has become
a primary issue in our work related day to day routine, where Staff and
Management find there is a need, to be trained and made aware of the importance
of security in their workplace. Where there is money and goods, there is crime.
In Queensland alone, armed thefts have jumped by 61% (quoted in the courier mail
25 may 2001). Armed and un-armed offenders have shifted their attentions from
hard targets such as banks and T.A.B's to newsagents, convenience stores and in
general, smaller retail stores. A.M.S.S. have training procedures and
applications in place, to assist in security issues management face on a daily
basis; in shopping centres / hospitality - domestic - commercial -industrial -
applications. A.M.S.S. has a proven track record for the training and management
of; suitably trained and qualified security and technical staff for all
applications in the security industry. A.M.S.S. is a Gold Coast based,
Australian owned security firm with broad-based, integrated security solutions
designed to protect our clients' business - large or small. Our professional
team of qualified, licensed personnel are dedicated to providing the highest

systems and services tailored to our clients' needs and requirements.
Directors History
A.M.S.S. Security founder and director Alf Mizzi has over 30
years experience in the security and personal protection industry. Alf
established Nexus Manpower Pty Ltd, a Melbourne-based security firm which, over
15 years, grew to employ over 100 professionally trained security personnel. The
company specialised in crowd control, static guards, armed guards, patrols, cash
escort / transit, body guard and personal protection and also event management.
Soon after relocating to Queensland Alf identified a need on the Gold Coast for
a truly professional security service, providing tailor-made security solutions
to business and the community. To ensure our clients' receive the highest level
of professionalism and service the company only employs licensed and qualified
security personnel assigned duties based on their areas of expertise.
Associate Memberships A.M.S.S.
Security is a member of the Australian Security Industry Association Ltd
(ASIAL). Queensland Security Association Inc (QSAI) and Southport Chamber of
Commerce. All personnel are Queensland licensed and accredited, we also have
specialist staff that are licensed for all states.
Work Cover
A.M.S.S. Security hold a current Workcover policy which is current for Public
Liability insurance of $10 million.
